Dodge City Kansas was awarded a piece of the Pentagon
that was involved in the 9-11 Attacks.The Special projects
manager has contacted Ralph Rojas & asked if The
PGR

/Kansas Legion Riders would be able to get this Stone to Dodge
City Ks. for a memorial on
9-11-2006
. Ralph has been in contact with all involved. Everyone is
on board and the stone will be picked up by someone from Moran's
office and the transport will start on
8-21-2006
. The stone will take the I-70 corridor to
Kansas
then South on 156 to
Dodge City
.
This transfer has already started,The Stone Left The Pentagon
Yesterday, today it is
Shanksville
Pa.
It was blessed by an Airforce Chaplain and will travel to the
Flight 93 Crash Sight for a short ceremony & Blessed again,
then will start the Journey west. The stone will have
Escort all the way as it comes thru the states, when it arrives
in Ks we will meet the
Missouri
group and take the Handoff for the last leg of the Journey
to Dodge City Ks. Sept. 2nd. Stage at Cabelas parking lot
off I-70 , exit 410 ( Kansas Speedway & Cabelas ) 0800

The
riders from Garden City are leaving there Fri. Sept. 1 at 1:00 from
the Wal-Mart parking lot. They will travel US 156 to Jetmore
arriving at 2:00pm to
pick up anyone from Dodge wanting to go. You will have a fuel
stop in
Great Bend
at about 3:00pm. The next stop will be at 2nd exit
in
Salina
& then
Junction
City
to top off and then on to
Kansas City
.

Staging
at exit 410 @ Cabela’s in
Kansas City
at 9:30 am. Missouri State Captain is expected to arrive at
10:00am. Departure will be at 10:30 on I-70
going west. Somebody will collect $2.00 for a toll and then
only 1 person has to stop. If not have your $2.00 ready.
Will be at
Junction City
at 12:30.
Going
onto
Salina
get fuel and eat. Leave
Salina
2:00pm be in
Great Bend
at 4:00pm and then on to
Dodge City
. Will stop at the Over Look just east of town to Flag
up (put flags on). Plan to be at
Wright
Park
at 5:30 pm
